Paul Wood, singer/songwriter and producer, is available nationaly or internationaly, either as a solo artist performing an acoustic set of his finest songs, or with his talented and professional band. Paul has an incredible repertoire of original songs to offer either as a warm up slot or a full concert.
Following years of gigging his songs in local pubs and clubs, coupled with his lifetime interest in electronics, Paul built his home studio which opened the doorway for the many songs he had previously written, and the many that were to follow.
His musical background mainly came from bands like Led Zeppelin - songs with great riffs and great melodies and with the passion for guitars ever present. Paul still records all of his songs in his home studio, where he also writes, co-writes, records, engineers and produces material for other artists as well as himself.
Paul is a multi talented musician, playing drums, guitars, bass and of course all the vocals on his recordings .
More recently, Paul has started recording acoustic material with much focus on space rather than production. His latest CD "The Space Between Us" is a great example of Paul's musical style of today and is definitely worth a listen.
Now living between London and Sunderland, he is always working on new material as well as gigging around London and the rest of the UK, where he has been likened vocally to Sting and Paul Brady (and even James Blunt!). Paul has gained a reputation as an experienced songwriter and electric / acoustic guitarist. He brings his melodic gifts and dynamic performing skills to bear wherever he plays.
